This 2 hour webinar based course is essential for anyone who has been using IRIS GP Accounts but feel that they are not getting the full benefit from the software to help the practice with managing where the money is going. Alternatively, those who would like a refresher of some of the repots available to you and those who are starting (or have been manually) producing a budget.
What will be covered?
We will cover the various reports and formats available within IRIS GP Accounts with practical example on how you can get a lot more information from IRIS GP Accounts than most people realise. Plus we will explain how to prepare and report on a budget.
Example GP Accounts Codes – Getting the codes right will allow you to get the most out of IRIS GP Accounts and make reporting easier. During this session, we will explain why this is important and how to change your account codes
Analysis reports - Analysis reports show an overview of how much money has been received or spent over different time periods
Income/expenditure Reports - This report allows you to see the “big picture”
Cashbook reports - Cashbook reports are used to investigate the analysis reports or to investigate specific areas of the cashbook
NHS GP Reports - These are useful for tracking your monthly NHS income and debits
Year on Year reports - Year on Year comparison allows you to easily compare spending on your main and sub codes for the selected periods
Creating a new budget - There is more that goes into budgeting than just taking last year’s figures and increasing or decreasing the amounts we will help get you started
Budget Reporting - Budget reports allow you to set up projections of income and expenditure for future years and run a comparative analysis to see if the actual figures match those expected
